Privacy Policy

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Diseño, Ingeniería y Construcción, C.A. ("DICCA"), headquartered in Maracaibo, Venezuela. You can reach us through the channels listed in the "Contact" section of this policy.

This site is a static institutional catalog: it does not require registration or a login. We only collect personal data when you choose to provide it, through two specific forms:

• Contact form (/en/contact): name, company, email address, service of interest (optional), and the message you write.
• Corporate presentation download form (/en/presentation): name, company, and email address, before downloading the PDF.

We do not collect browsing data, we do not use first-party tracking cookies, and we have no analytics tool installed on the site (see "What we don't do" below).

• Responding to your contact message and following up commercially if applicable.
• Keeping an internal record of who requested the corporate presentation, to understand real interest in DICCA.

We do not use your data for any other purpose: we do not build behavioral profiles, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes.

Processing your data is based on your explicit, informed consent: both forms require you to confirm you've read and accept this policy (and, for the contact form, also the Terms and Conditions) before the form can be submitted. You can withdraw your consent at any time — see "Your rights" below.

The data you submit through either form reaches:

• DICCA's email inbox, info@diccacorp.com, as a notification of your message or download request.
• Resend (resend.com), the provider we use for the technical delivery of those emails. Resend acts as a data processor — it delivers the email, it does not use the content for its own purposes.
• Google Cloud Logging, which keeps a technical record of the submission (the same form data, for audit and support purposes) within the Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure that hosts this site.

We do not share your data with any other third party, and we do not transfer it outside this circuit.

To be precise about the real scope of this policy, here is what this site explicitly does NOT do:

• It has no database of its own: form data is not stored on any DICCA server or database, it is only sent by email (see above).
• It does not use first-party tracking cookies or a cookie-consent banner, because it doesn't need one.
• It has no web analytics tool installed (Google Analytics or otherwise) and no advertising pixels.
• Embedded videos use YouTube's youtube-nocookie.com domain, which does not set tracking cookies until you actively interact with the player. If you play a video, that use falls under Google/YouTube's own privacy policy.

The site does store one minimal piece of data in your browser's local storage (localStorage, not a cookie: it never travels to our servers and has no expiration date): a flag that you've already seen the language selector, so we don't show it again on every visit. It does not identify you, does not record which language you chose, or any other activity, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

The email DICCA receives with your data is kept in our corporate inbox for as long as needed to handle your request or maintain a reasonable business record, and is deleted upon your request (see "Your rights"). The technical record in Google Cloud Logging has a bounded retention period, managed by Google Cloud's standard configuration for this project.

As a resident of Venezuela, you are guaranteed the right to habeas data (Article 28 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela): the right to access information held about you and to know how and why it is used. In practice, you can exercise the following rights over your data at any time:

• Access: know what data of yours we hold.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
• Cancellation/erasure: request that we delete your data.
• Objection: object to further use of your data, or withdraw your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@diccacorp.com stating your request — we will respond through the same channel.

If you write to us from a country in the European Union, we recognize that the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you rights equivalent to those described above — including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR) — and we handle them the same way, by writing to the contact address in this policy.

• All communication between your browser and this site travels encrypted over HTTPS/TLS.
• Form submissions are protected with Firebase App Check (reCAPTCHA Enterprise), which verifies that the request genuinely comes from the site and not from an automated script.
• We apply per-IP rate limits on submissions to prevent abuse.

We may update this policy when something real changes about how we handle your data (for example, if we add a new tool). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the version in force.
